Earth Simulator...

oh yeah...

I just spent a week working o the 5th most powerful computer on Earth. If that is not cool, I don't know what is.

Didn't have much time for tourism. 14-16 working-hour days do not leave much time for anything. But it was good. Our code is running now and all the basic requireme of performance at Erath Simulator have been met. I'll optimize a little more when I have the time, but so far so good :)

Real nice. By the way, I never mentioned my trip to the US, I think... I spent two weeks hiking in Zion and Bryce National Parks in August, and made a quick visit to Grand Canyon. Man, that is something...

I loved the trails in Zion, a true hikers park, and Bryce was so damn impressive.... I think I had the best time of my life.

I may be a geek, but I love the outdoors. Does that make any sense? Maybe not, but I couldn't care less. If you like hiking, or simply camping and going for a walk, these parks are simply AMAZING. I hope I find the time to come back in the future, because I couldn't do the narrows in Zion due to a flash flood warning, and I would love to! The Park Rangers are knowlegeable and friendly, and the views are simply out of this world. Try it and you won't regret it.
