dual-booting iMac

I have successfully used Boot Camp to install Windows XP on my intel iMac. You may be wondering why, since OS X is more stable and nicer to use than winXP (IMHO), but the reason is clear if you think about it: GAMES !!!!

Now I can play my games on a gorgeous screen at 1680 x 1050 resolution. Of course I only do work in Mac OS, but being able to reboo in windows and make some headshots does relieve the tension every now and then :)

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know htat it work without major problems. The first time I tried to partition the HD Boot Camp failed to verify the disk, so I had to reboot with the installation disk and use the disk utility to repair the volume, but after that everything went smoothly. I had never seen windows going so fast!

tetrahedral multidimensional physics

no less... At least, according to the movie I just saw, this is the origin of "free energy" for the world. First law of thermodynamics down the drain. Yahooo! Man, I love this sci-fi movies...

uff...

Long week... Again... These 13-hour working days are starting to bug me. Oh well, at least I should have a relaxed weekend so I can finish off some of the stuff that I couldn't do during the week. BUT I have half a bottle of red spanish wine and a crappy B-series movie to watch so all is good. Ah, friday nights...

wakeboarding!

today I had my secong learning day of wakeboarding and I finally managed to get my ass out of the water. It was great fun! As soon as you get upright out of the water once, the rest is easy. I also got a little sunburnt in the process, but it's all good... Now I have to learn how to get out of the wake.

After two weeks wit my iMac I am still very impressed by it. I can run gnuplot, OpenOffice.org, latex, xfig and I waste no time configuring anything because it works out of the box. Literally. It's just great.

Ok, that's all for today, I am dead from the wakeboarding, so I need to take a nap...
