original recycling practices

Or how else would you call this? This sign is on top of one of the rubbish bins in my house block. I just thought it was too funny not to share with the rest of the world!

Have a nice day, boys and girls...

the new iPod

Wow, this is a beauty... Mr D. from my office saw it and ordered it online within 15 minutes! I think my iPod nano purchase might have just been shelved for good. 60Gb, a decent screen ad claimed battery life of 20h? I'm getting a black one before the end of the month. It even makes sense for the price they are selling it.

Gadgety thoughts everyone...

getting things done

Getting things done feels good. Last friday I stayed up until five in the morning fixing a problem in the code I use to do my numerical simulations that had been bugging me for two weeks. At the end I had to resort to starting again from the last known working version (yep, I am a control freak and I keep records of which versions do what and of every test I run) and do all the changes I had implemented in the last month. Thank God it is much simpler when you already know how to do things... But anyway, at about 5am I got the results from my standad tests and everything was good. And the grin in my face is only starting to fade off now. What a satisfaction seeing that your work performs to good standards! Getting things done feels good.

And to celebrate... I got a new pair of running shoes to alternate with my Asics, so now I am the proud owner of a pair of Mizuno Precission 6!

Ok, I say goodbye feeling good today...
